Christopher Fischer is probably the man responsible for making cashmere what it is today. From his start in Scotland to now owning operations in Inner Mongolia (he was exploring China before the rest of you), his eponymous collection is what got us at HipGuide through Detroit winters during our work there. So this store, one of his several, carries all the best cashmere he has to offer, as well as a range of cotton separates and an absurdly cute baby collection (including a stuffed bunny and a tiny camo cardigan). He also sources and stocks wooden bowls from Africa, pieces from Schumacher, select denim from DL1961 (a line we can't get enough of), Yoanna Baraschi's cocktail dresses and a range of perfume Histoires de Parfums, making this a lifestyle store, long before the idea of such shops became en vogue.
