In celebrity chef Angelo Sosa's capable hands is this Moroccan - Middle Eastern bilevel room. the highlights of which are the lively front bar area and the pretty tables in the back of restaurant, directly under the olive tree and in front of the kitchen. Foodwise, this is a place for those who like spices. If thyme, rosemary and all the seasoning family are for you, you will love it here. A perfect filet on the menu which comes with a lovely corn creme brulee, a zesty (though tiny) mixed green salad, encrusted flaky flounder with dill, and our favourite, a Chai flavoured creamy custard to end the meal - all are rich in flavour (some a bit on the salty side) and perfectly delivered by a helpful and easygoing waitstaff. If you find yourself stuck on the Upper West side without an airplane ticket, wishing you were in Marrakech or Casablanca instead, this little oasis is where to go for a bit of culinary travel.
