Vikram's dream is worth making a destination simply because it's very fun to visit someone else's technicolour, surreal imagination. Mirrored ceilings, aquariums, you might not make your own home this much of a visual entertainment, and so for those who don't want more of the same when they travel, this hits the spot... Manhattan-based Italian restaurant, Serafina, three cool bars including the rooftop Ava, and the Chopra Center & Spa (offering spa services, daily yoga and meditation classes, and mind-body sessions) make it so you never have to leave.
