My Little Secret
149 Mulberry Street

Ah yes, another secret bar. We're a little over the fascination with the speakeasy business. It was not exactly a time that celebrated women and minorities so we're not sure glorifying the era (or the bars that go with it) makes it good in any way. That said, John Delutro's Italian themed cellar bar (barrels, red wine, dark candle-lit type spot) complete with etchings of Tommy guns, comes in at a time when all things Italian (such as truly bad reality TV shows) are a draw. We don't exactly picture the cast of the Godfather (check out the poster) eating the lobster sliders and gorgonzola fried artichokes they're serving here but we sure can picture all those turned away from PDT and Little Branch making their way to Little Italy. Look for the little dim red light.
