The door policy that unnecessarily pissed off so many at Cain comes to Nolita. Jamie Mulholland (Cain), designer Rob McKinley, and David Tetens (formerly of Lotus) have taken over the old Odea. And transformed it with oodles of gold skulls in the walls and gold-themed drinks. How very Live and Let Die of them. Perhaps this spot could live long but reports have it at a questionable lifespan. In the words of one hipster "the doorman told me it was a private party and when I finally got inside there only three people there! My boss, my client and [gossip columnist]!" Kind of an ironic place for a place that so kindly hosted charity events during Fashion Week.
