Because 20+ bars (the Whiskeys, Underbar, Oasis, Cherry...in Aspen, L.A., Boston, what feels like a zillion here in NYC) AND marrying Cindy Crawford was just not enough for Rande Gerber. The proprietor of so many bars he's the Starbucks of lounges, has the honour of opening the first lounge in the new Time Warner Centre. The spot also served the first food in the massive space. (BEFORE Thomas Keller's Per Se, Masa Takayama (Ginza Sushi Ko), Gray Kunz AND Jean Georges Vongerichten's Rare. ) We could be crazy but it sure feels like a Vegas hotel to us.
