The W brand's 31st hotel property, this spot features 408 W-branded residences done by architect Costas Kondylis in collaboration with NBWW & Associates, and includes Ocean Suites, Beach Bungalows, and the signature Extreme WOW suite (W's version of the Presidential suite). The rooms are up to celebrity standard, what with both Florence + The Machine and U2 having stayed here while they were in Miami for their concerts, but also on site is WALL, the W's nightclub (see our review under Miami clubs); celeb-eatery Mr Chow; WET, the two-pool side space complete with cabanas; Soleà, the Spanish restaurant; and Miami's first Bliss spa. Parties take place in the W Living Room designed by Anna Busta (Studio B) to include artwork from Aby Rosen’s private collection and offer views of WET and the hotel’s lush garden known as the Grove conceived of by landscape designer Paula Haye.
