When we were growing up, kids didn't have "vintage"; man, we called those hand- me- downs. And they were NOT desirable. Fast forward to the 21st century. It's "Backwards Day" at this LA shop for those pesky little ankle-biters where the name just might even be 'pony' in reverse. Children's clothing designers Claude and YNNUB - yes, that's "bunny" - have stocked this packed little emporium with their vintage clothing for kids refashioned into their labels' cute designs. Every surface catering to the pint sized Angeleno is covered and decorated much the way a real tot's closet might be, strewn with whatever the favourites of the day are.... Considering their location and just how many celebrities are popping out a few, this genius concept of luring away the locals from Baby Gapping their child is one aspect clearly forwards.
